Please forgive me, this is my first time :) Blogging, that is. I wanted to create a place to share all that God is doing in the life of the Greenway family.
As many folks know, we have had a CrAzY year since our twins arrived emergently on July 15, 2010. Throughout all of the things that have happened this year (more on that later), so many people have said, "I don't know how your getting through this," "the devil is really trying to get to ya'll," etc. And to this, my response, "God doesn't put on us anymore than He thinks we can handle." I really believe that and it has been my personal *motto* for the last year.
And believe me, it was HARD. But, the most uplifting part of everything was when folks would tell me that they were praying for us. Believe me, we need as many prayers as folks can give us.
It's hard to concentrate to even write about all of the 'bad' stuff, when so many GREAT things are coming up for us.
I first want to say that my husband, my Matthew, has been my rock through everything. He has lifted me up spiritually, emotionally, and physically. Some of the moments that really stand out to me are: 1. When I was an emotional (read: hormonal) wreck in the NICU at NGMC. 2. When I was an emotional wreck after the 2ND home fire. And MANY other times in between. Honey--If it weren't for you, I don't think I would have survived the last year.
So, I have started this blog to write about the things that we have overcame and the awesome things that I know God has in store for us, LIKE: Emerson & Chandler's first birthday & PARTY, moving into our new, improved, totally 'country' home (and getting to decorate!), Matt's newest adventures in motocross, EAT CLEAN, growing in our relationships and our relationship with our Heavenly Father, and of course, all of our great family & friends and the amazing lives that we are all blessed with, day in and day out.
Any of you *expert* bloggers out there? Please give me some instructions and guidance on how to do this :)
